Welcome to Irwin Metzger Memorial Library!

The beautiful Irwin Metzger Memorial Library was made possible through a $50,000 grant from the United States Office in Prishtina (now the United States Embassy in Kosovo).  The library opened on February 21, 2007.  Renovations to significantly enlarge the space will begin shortly, and this improvement is again through the generosity of the US Embassy. 

Thanks to the original grant, the Library was able to purchase approximately 900 new books, magazine and daily newspapers. It offers a range of books, reference materials, classroom materials, electronic technology resources, videos, and DVDs.  

The library is a uniquely designed space, providing a quiet study room, a casual reading space in the entrance, and a glass enclosed group study area.  All of this is in an attractive environment, conducive to study.
